5PM: TERREX Western States Shakeout Run – What’s better on a Friday evening than a chill pre-States run with DPMR, Healdsburg Running Co., and TERREX in downtown Truckee?
3:30AM: First Sunrise Escarpment Hike – Catch the first light of race day with HOKA at the Escarpment—hike to the top and witness the magic as runners experience their first climb on the course and set their sights on Auburn. Meet at the WSER start line.
4AM: DPMR Sunrise on the Escarpment – There are few places more exciting and breathtaking to be in mountain running than at the top of Olympic Valley to greet the States racers at sunrise when they crest Emigrant Pass and start their long journey to Auburn. Bring your headlamp, a cowbell, and an extra layer!

5AM: The 2025 Western States Endurance run begins!

10AM-11AM: Golden Hour 💫 – Experience the magic of the Golden Hour—the most special hour in sports—with HOKA and the heart-pounding rhythms of Sacramento Taiko Dan to welcome the finishers to the finish line at Placer High School.
8AM-12PM: Celebration Breakfast 🥞 – Served at the finish, this is free to all entrants and volunteers. Crews, pacers, families and fans welcome; donations appreciated.
