I’m a 20-25 mi/wk trail runner. I enjoy your articles immensely AND even was able to, with pride, see that our daughter, Deserae’ Clarke was listed as a 50k female winner.
Thank you all SO very much!
Please assure me that I stay subscribed. Somehow, my preference was changed to ‘unsubscribe’ and may have been an error on my part. God bless you all!

I love reading your articles . I run trails in Northern Ca and even though I turned 81 yesterday I run with Mo Bartleys Fleet Feet trail group.

I did my first marathon at age 60, and reached a total of 38 with a struggle after hip fracture, quadruple bypass, etc. My strenuous activity includes backpacking in Grand Canon, Yosemite and parts Appalachian Trail, each day marathon. Marathons include Estes Park, CO. (no.17), Bear Lake, Idaho & Utah, Deadwood, SD. Tried to achieve 50 States Club to reach 22 states and DC. Now almost age 85, “The future is unknown. It may make me groan. I move the best in can, before I kick the can.”. part of my poem at age 80, I enjoy seeing others meet their challenges on the trails. It is wise to let our body recover to meet the next one. My track club in Durham, NC keeps me going with other runners and races. KEEP MOVING

As one who makes weekly runs on the beaches and woods of Cape Cod, and enjoys the occasional endurance event to keep me humble and grounded, I thoroughly enjoy taking vicarious epic runs through your wonderful articles. It’s nice to know there’s such a large and active community of trail runners out there who enjoy (and endure) the same adventures I do. Thank you!
